Columbia Rd. Flower Market

Columbia Road Flower Market in the East End of London, nearish to Brick Lane and Spitalfields. One of my favourite inspiring places, full of flowers, plants, people and street musicians. Lots of small interesting boutiques selling handmade craft, arty and vintage garden shops alongside the flower stalls. Coffee shop bars restaurants as well. An amazing place to spend your time on a Sunday morning and get cheap stuff for your garden. Can be quite crowded. A side turning into Ezra St, is worth a look and find Lili Vanilli who makes the freshest donuts and fudge brownies, if you missed breakfast. I was just snapping pics with my Lumix. More info here Here are some more photos from another visit (more plants for the garden)taken with Hipstamatic. Showing some stuff from the interesting boutiques and arty shops <

in my studio Hipstamatic slide show

Just mucking about with the iphone app Hipstamatic which simulates a toy camera (a very expensive one) snaping random things around my studio, playing with lenses, films, flashes, of which there are many. Love the colour effects. (updated for ipad nov 2016 using this tutorial) HERE (https://youtu.be/iId6tjNmFYk )

Hipstamatic at Sissinghurst

My theory is if you shoot enough photos you're bound to get one decent one. Not sure which one that is, but hopeful got some of the atmosphere of the charming place that Vita created

instant polaroid maker

WoW I love Polaroids, I have 2 working vintage ones lol, but the film is 2 dear, is that really how you spell that, well I found this cool digi app yesterday. free. You just drag your pic onto it, it ejects the polaroid and while waiting for the development you can shake it to get the different retro colour variations. One I did earlier (my daughter) It does high res so its good for printing out. Easy to download Win/Mac, free (but a donation is welcome). Click on machine to left for the homepage. Apparently Polaroid will stop making their cameras next year. Go to the Save the Polaroid, site Flickr group and contest. But if they do/dont you can make your own, on your computer.
