Ages since I posted anything.. always doing stuff that takes over everything. Was trying to help hubby with some html challenges so did this randomly ( to keep my hand in) not that I know anything much about html. Blogger handles it all it seems (thank my lucky stars)

So this is a cover artwork I created in Photoshop from my 2017 music mix Dragonfly ( which I listened to a few days ago, and really loved) is a generated (from hearthis.at , where I now load all my new mixes) preview . Don’t know if it will play for you. But I include the link to listen if you felt like it. I really feel as if I should brush up on my English writing skills, obviously don’t do enough. Must practise more.

Faux Polaroid Google Earth photos

 Not being able to travel the world at the moment (or anytime ) I got an idea to google earth some photos, anywhere I wanted. I fancied finding those retro signs along Route 66 sort of thing. 

So screen shot to photo library ~ edit then use my instants app Instants And Polaroid instant app (no longer available in the UK ? Weird) but any faux making photo app if you wanted would do. This is just for fun. 

And I made some faux Polaroid lifts from them. (Zink / Canon Selphy prints and some water slide decal types. Which I could write about if anyone was as mad as me and wanted to try them. ) 

So a great time wasting activity (or is it🧐)

Prem Rawat’s 'Peace is Possible' campaign included recently working with world-famous street artist Eine, whose artwork was gifted to President Obama by the Prime Minister of the U.K. Ben Eine invited Prem Rawat to view the striking mural he had created on Ebor Street, Shoreditch, London. While meeting Prem, Eine took the opportunity to explain why he chose to paint the phrase ‘Peace Is Possible’ - an important statement at a time when London and other cities across the UK are experiencing a rise in youth violence. 

Vimeo now seems defunct and the video of Prem Rawat and Eine is lost.

The only one I could find is on YouTube in Hindi, but you can see the amazing Peace is Possible wall art. Here

British Library exhibition punk london 2oct 2016 slideshow

excuse blurred photos (no photography allowed so had to be quick a & surupticious) /glare on glass/ my shadow.
Includes zines, posters, album/ ep/ covers and photos. More info HERE. Mainly interested in the typography and design as there was none, good to try to freeup myself from graphic art training. Love the bad printing also. Anyway somewhat visually liberating. Not saying much for the music though. British Library is a great place to visit.
